Double Red
« on: April 11, 2016, 10:43:48 AM »

Recently, I had the good fortune to molest this rare gem.

This lovely vintage SD is usually found at the auction house.

A wrist shot together with my Exp 2 :)

I am almost a recovered watchaholic, but last checked shows only 70% recovered. How?

The Double Red 1665 is a holy-grail to many WIS and she still looks relevant and captivating forty years later  What a beauty!

Double red is damn hot! very expensive also for what it is, you got to be an expert in vintage before buying it is very hard to determine the condition and whether or not it was fitted with franken parts. Especially when you have companies like this one in HK which can restore the dial http://classicwatchrepair.com/page3.html

Don't want to get caught paying premium for a restored dial.
