Your SM 300 does not seem to have any patina?There's one for sale with gloriously even patina asking over US$4k
Will pull the trigger if one comes along at a fair price. that 1675 has got even pat....

Some vintage SM300 from watchco like mine are fitted with a new dial using super luminova. hence, there is no patina.

Watchco from OZ usually sells their vintage pieces on a "as is" basis so you'll find that one will need a good watchmaker but price reflects that

Like sshark said, mine, like the watchco version are fitted with new luminova dial, hence no patina. So I always consider mine as a homage to the original.

As for the 1675, that watch is very old. It is about 46 years old, bought in 1964. It is in retirement after being used (not abused) on a daily basis for over 30 years (not by me). It has been to RSC over 6 times in its life, had its bracelet changed 3 times (I have all the bracelets) and all the documents and service papers. It has been down manholes, up trees, swam in the ocean, driven round Malaysia, slept with, basically never left the owners hands.

A basic service with OSC is about RM3XX for the SM 300. Basically movement strip, clean, reoil and retime. Parts replacement is over and above this.

On this note, correct me i'm wrong, watchco doesn't consider their omegas as homage. it is consider the real deal / original with "revisions" or something along that line.

I am not sure what watchco considers their watches to be. I consider mine a homage as yes it is all 100% Omega, but the case is not correct for the dial and hands as the case is for the dial with date. Mine is without. Also the movement in my watch, although correct in terms of movement number, is not correct in terms of serial number as it has cannibalised from another Seamaster and the serial number of the movement puts it to before (1 year) the SM300 was introduced by Omega. So that is why I consider it a homage and not an original SM300.

To me it is not important what the watch is as long as you like it. Is yours the version with date or the same as mine? I am looking for the version with the big triangle at 12 o'clock.

u r looking at the military version and it is harder to find 1 with all original parts. Luckily, the big triangle version is not my taste.

Actually both versions were issued. I am looking at the civilian version (dial only) of the Big Triangle. I can source the case and hands as well the movement. Not really in a hurry though.

My military issued Pulsar G10 watches. Both from 1999. Known to have quality issues, crystal popping out, winding stem falling out etc, but I love them. Looking for the long minute hand version.
