That's always the case...if you already have a target and is able to finance it, i would suggest you pull the trigger now

As far as I know, notice is not given yet. But some of the brands have already increased, like Oris, Omega, Longines, Hamilton, etc etc..
Some of the boutiques uses this tactic to close the deal, telling you price is going to increase next month/ next week.

But yes most watch brands do adjust their retail price year by year.

For those who already bought your watch prior, do you feel you gain from the increases?

Will that encourage you to continue the buy anticipating that it will get even worst?

Prices will only go up and up ...... the only price fall is probably watch maker share price may drop in the current global stock market volatility .... too bad Rolex is a private company.

We can't deny the technological trend of smart watches gaining fame & market share... wonder if this would eventually adversely affect the price of mechanical watches

Indeed smart watches is gaining ground in the watch space but will be complimentary to major watch makers. I am sure many here would agree, having a smart watch as an additional toy ... with the many features that comes with it.

When MYR not doing well, watch sellers increase price and blame the powers that be.  When MYR does well, nobody gets thanked but prices still go up (this time watch seller says is due to other reasons bla bla bla).  When have you seen price watches coming down whether in good times or bad times?

Don't know whether Zenith Malaysia will follow the price reduction. Hope it does so the WIS will benefit from the price reduction.

the price of the major brand is increasing year by year, so that matter is the common ,if you can afford the watch you like, you'd better buy it now.

New watch price is reduced due to a strengthened Ringgit against the Greenback.

Will price of pre-owned be reduced as well?
