As the subject suggest, if you had a choice between these two, which one would you pick and why?

PP +1 . The I don't fancy the combination of rubber strap and gold. It portrait it self like a sport watch but not too sporty... hmmm neither here nor there. Maybe i have yet to accept it's new design.

The Yacht Master 116655 looks amazing on pictures, I will choose it over PP 5711, if it feels as good in real life.
I only managed to see the 37mm 268655 in real life, it looks ok, but I wasn't sold.
I sure hope the 40mm 116655 looks and feel better in metal.

Now, I am never a fan of 5711. I will certainly not choose it over 116655.
I may, however, consider 5712 vs 116655

Like you, I've only seen the 37mm in real life and am not quite sold. Been planning to get the PP 5711 a while now but when I saw the 116655 got announce this year it caught my attention immediately. Perhaps I'll know when I actually see it in person.

Yacht Master is not the pinnacle of Rolex. The Daytona takes that spot. It would be very hard for a normal Rolex to compete with a PP. Unless we're talking about Rolex MilSub or Rolex Daytona Paul Newman, most of the time PP would floor the Rolex

i would go for PP 5711/1A Nautilus. Because the fact that the YM Rose Gold might be new model which is the reason for favourite. But along the time, we never known. PP 5711 has been proven hot model since many years ago.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Although PP is the overwhelming favorite which I do agree, I couldn't help but went for this two days ago and it's non of what we've discussed here. Not sure what it is but something about rose gold and black just made me pull the trigger:

Congrats. You make the right choice. To me , I bought an AP because of the octagonal G. Genta design. I'm sure you like it a lot . Regards
