New Arrival-Prometheus Poseidon
« on: October 02, 2015, 09:00:26 AM »
Hi guys,

This was a watch i purchased sometime early in the year and I paid about RM2k for it which was a full pre-order payment. The wait was almost 8 months but I was kept informed of the progress throughout by Carlos, the owner of Prometheus. Last week I received a note from Fedex saying the watch would leave Portugal on Monday (28 Sept) and that I can expect delivery on Wednesday evening (30 Sept). As always Fedex was very efficient and professional in the tracking advisory and on Wednesday morning, I received a note stating that the item will be delivered shortly. It came promptly before lunch.

As I was away, I asked my secretary to accept delivery. And today finally I have it. So here it is.

I would say that it is a hell of a deal as I got a nice leather strap, a Hirsch rubber strap and the watch came on a steel bracelet. More will follow after I have given the Poseidon a more through test run. Thanks for reading and have a good weekend.

Wow, 350ATM ain't joking matter! The Miyota 9015 should be very dependable beater, so all-in you have a good catch with its price! Did the taxman get his paws on your purchase?

Yes I forgot the best part, no tax.....the Fedex paperwork did not indicate what the item was, hence the ability to slip in....phew, otherwise it would have been a longer wait and more cash out.

Also because I ordered so long ago, I had about 20% savings on exchange rates!

Hi,

It does glow but not like the Seiko. This is a shot I took, sorry it's a lousy pic but it gives you an idea. I would say that this is an area to improve further. I find that it glows like mad after you charge it but fades quickly. Have not had much of a chance to charge under normal sunlight, too much haze la.... :(
