4k-6k? Bro u must be joking right? Even if you are talking in euros, itll be at least in excess of €10k even pre owned. But I doubt it's likely to even find a pre owned one. It's only launched this year and limited 99pcs.

I meant panerai in general. I'm not too sure about the models because they have way too many models that falls under the same category. And no I was not kidding, do not expect high value in panerai when it comes to selling it unless it is some limited edition or some sort

4k to 6k in MYR? Where? I would be keen on some if this was true.

I see. But even an entry level panerai with ETA movement is not going to cost less than RM10k pre-owned. But i do agree resale value will probably take a bigger hit for lesser popular models against popular models (barring limited ed).

No of course not....it's €17000 or rm80k to be precise. See the review and price below:

And, personally, pam604 is not my cup of tea....at that price, there's so many other watches that really belong in that price bracket/category..... Other than the use of 18k gold, the engraving (which i personally dont like) and its a limited ed watch, i dont see any other reason to justify that steep price for a PAM

Even a ten year old panerai watch you cannot get for 6k based on my own survey when I was checking out for some pre own. In fact if it's 10 year old and a sought after model you gonna pay more than the new ones !. I somehow found Panerai resale price is quite in tandem with rolex or slightly lower but still hold very good value compared to my other watches like tag, corum, mont blanc. Those are like total loss more then 50% down after 1-2 year owing them.

I'm more than willing to break my 'Pam-virginity' with any genuine watch for RM 4-6K. Heck, even 8k. Hell, even 10k. So, pls pls tell me where i can get a used, good running Pam for less than 10k...

Bro;

I think you really dislike Panerais' watches, if not, you will not say the cost is that low, but if you meant USD, then it is acceptable. If I am not wrong, the cheapest PAM would be the 'ZERO' and second hand will be around MYR15,000.00+/-. A friend of my went to Singapore last Monday and bought himself a PAM00312 "R" circa 2015 at The Hour Glass. He paid SGD9,460.00 and after his GST refund of SGD525.00, his NETT purchase of this beautiful watch is SGD8,935.00 you do the maths and convert the price to Ringgit lah.

What I am saying is that Panerais' are not that low in prices lah but if you really meant USD than fine. And another word of advice, if you don't know the fact, just read or ignore is the best policy otherwise you will mislead others. Sorry to be so blunt.

yeah. In fact Panerai watches hold up their resale value pretty well as compared to other brands. Perhaps only Rolex can better Pams.

Btw, why don't your friend buy in malaysia? Even with GST refund, the price in malaysia should still be cheaper than in singapore right, given the exchange rate now.

Bro KimmJio;

My friend, as a Malaysian, likes Sing Kah Poh very much. Tiger Air tickets are cheap, only MYR 196.00 for return flights. I think he trust the shops better than he trust the shops in Boleh Land. I am not saying he is unpatriotic but this guy love to visit that island as much as he love Boleh Land too. Also, he needs to visit friends.

By the way, I was with him when he was buying the watch. He was deciding between, 312, 510, 560 & 562. We accidentally discovered that the latest 562R is sausage dial instead of the 562Q being sandwich dial. I wondered why this happened? Even the sales person was unable to answer this question.

My friend really liked the titanium of the 562 but the sausage dial made him changed his mind and bought the 312R. Anyway, most important is he is happy about the watch regardless it is a Luminor Base or Marina 1950 case. Both are in-house movement and are good & beautiful watches. I have to congratulate him and wished him well and he should wear his watches in good health as this is his first PAM.
