Help verify authenticity of this Omega PO XL
« on: June 10, 2015, 02:15:16 PM »
Hi guys

I need some help to verify whether this is a real deal or not. Thinking of swapping it with my PAM000. Complete with box and paper. The guy is a swedish and claimed he bought at German AD.

Thanks.

you will need more than just boring non-high res wrist shots just to tell if its fake.
the high end fakes now are pretty good, with ceramic bezels and all.

easiest way is still to look at the movement, and since that has a transparent caseback, why hasnt the seller given any pics of that?

Looks good but are you willing to take the risk dealing online with unknown buyer? Any recourse?

Perhaps you can drop an email to Omega to verify the serial number.

just wondering, why does the seller send so many low res pics...does he own the watch or just taking pics randomly off the net?

ask the seller for some high res shots, especially a shot of the movement showing the two barrels, as well as a closeup of the serial number engraved on the movement itself.

then u should be almost good to go.

ask for tagged pictures, i.e. shoot with today newspaper

to make sure the watch is with him and not copy from the net.
