my choice for a 'higher end sports watch'
« on: April 23, 2015, 08:53:51 PM »
At one point, I was considering these:
Cartier Calibre Diver - ss on bracelet: too busy
VC overseas 3 hander - white dial: date window placement & shape kills me
Breguet Marine - the one with the blued hands: it will scratch the moment u breath on it & the
GO 70s in blue
with 3 of them having no functional bezel...

This one won easily...although I am super keen on a blue dialed VC overseas chronograph

perfect size. classic lineage. one of the best chrono movements ever.

great design, curvy and sexy as hell

the red adds a dash of character

i like the PCL on this

wore this the most after the SubC

coupla other favorites

this trio should cover all needs eh

wrist shot

All 3 Rollie siblings looked great; but for a Chrono, you can't go wrong with the Daytona  Wear them in good health, mate!

Just curious as you already have the 116523, does owning a 116520 seem too similar?

no not at all.
it ends up being classy vs sporty.
enough wrist time for both

i think it if were just a black vs white dial it would overlap.
the 2t adds that touch of class.

Interesting shortlist of equivalent watches including VC, Breguet and so on... glad that Rolex won again...
The Daytona C in Steel is my dream watch now...
