Recently, there has been a few models on my mind that are dedicated to revival or tribute to some of the previous success of respective watch companies.
They brought back these old design and some are more faithful than others in various degrees in terms of appearance and design and very often offers improvements with new technology and caliber within them. These designs has proven to be timeless and still very relevant to watch collectors today.
Some of the examples are as follows:

Pictures are from various sources and copyright of respective owners. The Seiko 62GS is probably the most faithful revival of the three above and is getting a lot of attention. I could go all day just staring the pictures all day on the web.
The SIHH 2015 has highlighted IWC's 75th ann 8-day manual Portugieser as the favourite release. This sends a message that some retrospect in their line is needed.
JLC's Geophysic is one of the classiest JLC I've seen so far and remains faithful as a technical watch with its soft-iron cage and beautiful proportion.
Most of these watches are almost always limited in production, which is the part I hate the most. I suppose that makes them even more valuable and better appreciated.
What other tribute or revival watches that you're eyeing on or got your attention lately?
