Rolex SkyDweller WhiteGold Blackface
« on: March 25, 2015, 04:22:45 PM »
I've not seen much written about the Rolex Skydweller on MWF.  Some say its a fugly what. I personally love the blackdial version! It is now my grail watch.

What do others think? Also will some sky dweller owners comment on durability and accuracy of the movement?

I tried it out at the rolex AD and it really looks great in the flesh. Pictures don't do it justice.

My comments only hold true for the white gold blackface version

The watch looks really awesome in the flesh. Show off watch or not depends on ones point if view.

This watch is a serious contender as a retirement watch. The only one you will ever need. And if the bling factor is upsetting some, go for the white gold one. Most ppl can't tell anyway.

And i don't think it will come is stainless steel. I could be wrong but i feel that Rolex is positioning the Sky-Dweller as a precious metal only watch ala Day-Date

Yes it does... January 20th 2014... lol
Watch belongs to my boss.
Was having a cuppa with him and candidly ask to view the watch closer.
He obliged.
How i wish it was mine...  ;D

Does it consider a complication? Annual calendar ?

How's the ring command function?

Ring lock command is just made for ease of use.
Setting the watch is a breeze eventhough it's a GMT + Annual Calendar

I hope they release a ss version

Maybe in the year 2105....

Back when it was released, people called it fugly and all manner of names. But as time goes by, it has grown to be very desirable.

Lol

I may have exaggerated for dramatic effect. I already got my hot chick, I suppose it wouldn't be fair to give her herpes just because I don't care for a particular watch!
