If we have something we really want, I doubt the GST will stop us from actually buying it. It is different if the watch you want and the funds to purchase it is available now then better to purchase it whilst it is still cheap. If not, it just means we have to save our money to purchase it after the GST has been implemented.
Your ONLY job in this world is to make sure that you are happy

Unfortunately 6% harder work does not equate to 6% higher productivity and certainly not 6% higher pay.... hahahahaha
Terrenceterrence "seriously, i think buying a watch for it's secondhand value is like getting married and thinking about divorce at the back of your mind."

Hey guys! Nothing better than having my first pick up/poison as my first post here on MWF. I've missed out before the rise in Swiss Franc but managed to jump into the bandwagon today just before April Fool.

I had initially opted for a sports model like the Sub-C /GMT but my 6-inch sized wrist had a different opinion. And frankly speaking this is the best one that I could have asked for my first watch.

Sorry for the bad pictures as I had to snap it in a sneaky manner. Still finding the best possible way to reveal this at home without getting into much trouble  ;D

My last watch, I hope before the GST kicks in, is this baby. Taking a blow from the weak exchange rate but what the hack. I hope it will keep me satisfy for the remaining days before 1st April. Or maybe not.  Still craving for more. Help!

Great acquisition sir! A beautiful piece that I would love to get my hands on as well. I on the other hand have my eyes locked on this lovely. Did some research and poisoned myself over a written review here at A Blog to Watch. The powerhouse Kinetic movement with a GMT complication and the great colourway is enough to draw my attention to it even though the ticking hand irks me a little. Another encouraging factor - GST implementation in 8 days.

Guess I'll be bouncing along Sunway Pyramid in abit  :Jumping: :Jumping: :Jumping:

No budget for a new acquisition. So, send my sub for service instead. 6% cheaper at least.

Guys this is the final week before GST is implemented. So better buy whatever you need to buy this week. Be it groceries, household consumables, electronics, electrical goods, mobile phone, notebook, iPad, etc. Also send your car for servicing, change Tyres, polishing, etc. Trust me, 6% is a hell lot of money if you add all up. So plan ahead and beat the tax and save $$.

Since everyone is here, if my purchase is before GST, hence Invoice is before 1 April 2015, but then delivery only after 1 April 2015 from oversea. Will the watch get taxed GST?
