Omega Planet Ocean Rubber Strap?
« on: March 17, 2015, 07:39:12 AM »
Hi all, just wanted to ask for your opinion.

I currently have an orange bezel omega planet ocean with steel bracelet. I'm actually thinking on whether to buy an orange rubber strap from omega with the clasp buckle (steel bracelet's buckle does not fit the rubber strap, hence need to buy another clasp buckle)

However, the rubber strap and the buckle costs around RM1800 in total lol. You guys think it's worth the price? I dont really wear the watch out for rigorous activities like sports, just wanted to buy the rubber strap as its slightly more comfortable, and I get the option to interchange the straps when I'm bored.

Opinions please, thanks!

Suggest you look at other aftermarket rubber strap makers - similar quality but way cheaper

there are 2 straps.
the rm1800 is the one that looks like leather from far with the side stitching, this one comes with a deployant and not a regular buckle.
there is also a rm700++ diver one that comes on a regular buckle.

Thanks both for the helpful comments!

If the diver one is RM700+ with the buckle, then I would seriously consider getting that.

Why not consider the 22mm orange Isofrane? It would complement your Planet Ocean well in the looks department and wears very well too.
