Hi, it is depends on what movement you need. Automatic or Quartz, Swiss, Japan or China. You are able to get a Tissot in Quartz and Orient, Seiko, Citizen in Automatic movement on your budget. Again, still depends on what are you are looking for. You can narrow down a bit on the choices then more direct recommendation can be introduced to you. Only my 2 cents.   :)
IWC Pilot Chronograph 3777, Oris Big Crown Complication, Longines Hydro Conquest, Hamilton Khaki Field Titanium Auto, Tissot Couturier Quartz Chronograph, Orient FEM76002B9 Automatic, Seiko Chronograph World Time 7T62 OJHO, AVI-8 Solar Power AV-4018-03, Casio AE-1200WH, G-Shock GA-110RG, G-Shock G-300, G-Cool GT-000

For around 1k, you can consider Tissot V8 with leather strap.

Thank you for the tip.
My preference would be either Japan or Swiss but not to China. This might be an obvious sense of stereotype towards the quality of their other production, however, you guys are welcome to input any advise to adment my  negative perspective  about towards China watch.

As in movement of the watch, Mechanical movement is much preferable. But, any great Quartz movement is still welcome :)

Another concern of mine Is that I love leather strap watches but the strap doesn't capable for my daily usage because sweat will make it stink and this is annoying. Being said that I'm looking for a Daily Watch :)

If mechanical, for daily wear,

Anything from Seiko, Orient, Citizen is good. Tissot also come into mind

Last but not least, DW..... hahah  :Laughing_on_floor:

1)Any idea where can I hunt a Seiko SKX007 in Subang ? Shopping Mall preferably.
2)What would be the price range of SKX007?
3)What is the different between SKX-009KC , SKX007Kc, SKX007k ?

Thankyou all guru for input in advance :)

1) I think you better go to MidValley, I see few shops there are selling this model.
2) The price range is around 1k or lesser, depend on the discount.
3) Not a Seiko fan, cant help.

(1) cannot help, in jb i know la.

(2) RRP 1200 +- normally after disc can go ard 750-950, depending on whether is rubber strap or bracelet.

(3) Models ending with K means movt made in Malaysia, Singapore or HK, those ending with J means made in Japan.

SKX 009 - Pepsi bezel, (blue red bezel).
SKX 007 - Black bezel, standard look.

Hope it helps.

Seiko fan.....

FYI J doesn't indicate made in Japan. They are all made in Malaysia, J indicates a specific market.

Yep.

My understanding is that they are all made in Malaysia and designated according to market. In Japan, it is legal to mark an item Made in Japan if it is made in another country under certain conditions.
