« on: February 18, 2015, 09:33:42 AM »
Tissot is one of the affordable Swiss Brand Watch. But but but, why is the Seconds Hand of Tissot quartz movement watches are all off. They does not accurate pointing at the number( or whatever it call ) which really cause annoyance. Any Ideas?

Inevitable in my opinion.
Most quartz movement are like that iirc... only a handful of quartz movement's seconds hand tick perfectly aligning to every marker.

May I know what Tissot model you bought has that problem? Though I don't own one, I reckon not all Tissot quartz are like that?I saw some that aligned correctly. I thought this problem only with Casios (I've one chrono quartz)

I was wandering through Tissot outlet these days checking out for some nice model. I saw most of the quartz movement watches were not align to the marker which disappointed me. There's no specific model i would say. But the one that i saw are mostly off the marker.

I own a PRC 200 quartz and so far the small pointy second hand is accurate as any good watches are.

Glad to hear that. I'm hunting for perfectly appointing second hands just feel sad seeing the offset ones.

I'd say Tissot is like a fashion so called 'Swiss' watch maker. nothing impressive about them if you ask me.

For the same price, i would suggest Zeppelin/Junkers. German made, good stuff. Personally own a Zeppelin, very sturdy and reasonably priced.
