Hi all,
I got a mont blanc automatic watch which I think require servicing. It's been with me for 5-6 years, the watch seems to be slowing down or stop when it's off my wrist although it's got a power reserve of 40 hours when I pick it up the next day.

Any reliable shops which you can recommend ?
Any idea on the gap of cost of service between watch repairers in Amcorp Mall vs The authorised Mont Black service center ?

You can send to MWF store as well, so far i had send 2 watch for them to service.

I wasnt too impressed with TSC in amcorp..they also sell high end fakes...

That's terrible, how can they be selling fakes in a shopping mall, to unsuspecting customers, perhaps, too.

You guys can Pm chrisyen ( A member here ), he is still providing the watch service under malaysia watch forum although the shop is closed. I done mine with them previously and it was all good so far. About 1 week you can get your watch back.

tsc in amcorp mall? tsc & tax seng the same? i was quite happy w tax seng service before.. maybe i dont know better..

i think better compare whatever watches of switzerland quote with the sifus here.. i also dont agree that they charge you just for figuring out how much to quote u for what might be wrong with your watch..

I'd steer clear of them. They screwed up one of my watches previously.

And you should read their T&Cs. Basically, if they screw up your watch, you have no recourse.

Agree with feedback on TSC. Sent a watch for repair at the outlet at Amcorp mall and was charged Rm150 just to have a look at the watch. After one month, called them to ask about their finding, was told they cannot fix. Not sure if they even checked the watch. I finally took my watch to another independent repairer and he managed to fix it within a week. Considered the Rm150 as donation to TSC charity. Never again with TSC.

Got the same experience. Bunch of con men. Steer clear from them.

Normally the highly qualified watch repairer, eg. Rolex Certified Technician, is more competent and professional
