40mm Pam
« on: November 17, 2014, 06:31:07 AM »
Hi guys, I was recently offered up a 40mm pam model for purchase. I have been contemplating since as my wrist is only 6.5 inches. I was wondering what are you thoughts regarding these watches as pams are normally 44mm. I do know some drawbacks such as the availability of straps and the like.

Also how does a 40mm pam hold it's value compared to the bigger versions? I understand 40mm is more desirable in the preowned market as it is suitable for women as well.

Your thoughts are much appreciated.

40mm PAM for me is like non-spicy Tom Yam soup.......dull and flat.

PAM is suppose to be BIG, at least 44mm. And that size will be at home sitting on your 6.5 inch wrist.

Women looks sexy in over-sized watches.

swleong is right.

a PAM that is not big.should not be called a PAM.

Trust me, its a pam, it will look good on your wrist

Unless the 44mm looks like that on your wrist, get the 40mm :Laughing_on_floor:

I got a 6.6 inch wrist it fits well with my 45mm Radiomir. I tried the Pam372@ 47mm and Pam 425 and Pam424 @ 47mm and they all can work on my wrist. So better go try it out before you decide over the computer screen. Some 47mm are indeed bigger and some smaller due to the case type and thickness. The 44mm and 45mm will be easier for you to resell or trade as 95% of the buyers are going for this size. 40mm will be another story.
