GS Quartz owners, does the seconds hand landed spot on, on the minutes markers?

Mine does, with unerring accuracy.

Knowledge speaks, but wisdom listens.

To me, grand seiko is a bargain in-term of horological value if you would have compared it to the swiss counterparts. Just bought a sbga029, the finishing is astonishing and does put my sub lv and moonwatch into shame. The spring drive is the most accurate mechanical movement i have ever own. Well some might argue its a quartz, to me its a mechanical since it offers no energy from an electrical source and only an electromagnetic field to act as brake and with a 3 days power reserve, it's a leap in watch technology.  The case and the steel bracelet finishes is second to none.  For those who enjoy watch horological values , buy one and you'll never regret. However, size is slightly large for some, but the  non clustered dial (non-prejudice, to my opinion) is a winner compared to any of latests divers Rolex offered.

Very nice Bottega Veneta wristlet and an even nicer GS SD Diver!  Hate to sound like a fanboy but GS is really the bomb.  Wear in good health bro.

Not that much different in prices between Bangkok and KL. However, Bangkok may have the broader range of GS available compared to KL (can anyone confirm?)

Yup, my friend said so.

AFAIK, Thailand has a very wide range of all Seiko ranges, some even specific for Thailand only.

I checked Thailand AD and Johor baru AD prices that are after discount (as much as 20%) . Their after discounted prices are the same.

The Glante is at the same price range with GS but its size is big and loud.

It could be a GS sub brand to attack the big size watch market.
