Interested in the Panerai Luminor PAM00356

Hi all,

I'm really new to the luxury watches scene, so your opinions will be much appreciated...

I'm interested in the Panerai Luminor Chrono Daylight PAM00356 as I'm always fascinated with chronograph movements. I also prefer the design over their new chrono watches, i.e Luminor Flashback. Do you think this is it worth getting the PAM356 or it's better to get their new models.

among chrono model, rattrapante range should be more practical as it's in house movement.

Thanks, I've just read that the 356 is not an in-house movement. So decided to check out the 321, 524 or maybe the 537. But it all depends on the price, the Rattrapante is expensive and maybe a little too big.. 42 or 44 would be better.

Panerai are famous with their case design but not in house movement... What wrong with ETA or valjoux movement? They are robust and easy to service... Just buy whatever sing to u most.... Happy hunting

There's nothing wrong with ETA or valjoux movement, but just be careful it is below $20k

So does it mean if you want to get a Panerai it must be the one which has the crown lock level?
