HI EVERYONE!!!!

I am newbie here, i wanted to buy my first watch. after surveying i found that this 2 watches above is nearly what i want. its match the pricing that what i want (my budget is around RM4k and below). anyway my requirement is

1. More than 41mm Dimension width
2. Business and casual wear
3. Classic
4. Value in future
5. look professional with style

my point of view choose
Ball Engineer 2 aviator NM1080C-N5J-GY
1. most luminious in ball series

Longines Sport conquest classic L3.677.4.58.6
1. branding

tissot, casio, orient is not prefered...

anyway please help me to decide which watch is best fit for me....  ;D ;D :o

Both are nice watches. Have you tried them on your wrist yet? Different watches "sit" differently on your wrist. And they will give you a completely different "feel".

Both brands have history and have their unique plus points. My only question is...why not Tissot, Casio or Orient? Lots of us here has those brands...

Bill and jacky8888: Thanks for your vote that let me feel confidence on the watch

dualcarb : i know Tissot, Casio, or Orient are all watchmaker. The reason i choose this 2 brand is because
1. Ball and Longines is above the categories for those 3 (in my personal opinion or standard)
2. Ball's special is the luminiuos and Longines is an old time favourite.  while other dont have an selling point!!! MAybe advertiment....
3. The pricing is reasonable and value for $$$.

We must have a Ball haha... I also getting one soon although it is not so popular nowadays.
Longines ah... Some of their design quite nice but I still support Ball.

Well...Like I mentioned before, both has history and each has it's own merits. And I will not be able to make a choice unless I put it on my wrist and see which one suits me better. I like both brands and I like both for it's history and heritage. My honest and humble opinion would be to go try them out at ADs...put them on your wrist, take wrist shots and go home to think about which makes your heart beat quicker and more excited to see on your wrist when you put it on in the morning.

my opinion,

longines looks a bit too plain the design
ball still look nicer

it's better u compare both on ur wrist then u should able to tell which u preferred.

Hey mate, no need worry of any radiation as long as it stay at safety level.
Our daily life already expose to many radiation from electronic devices but we still use right. ;)

Radiation??? Yes u r rite tat Tritium does hv certain level of radiation emitted but they r safe as long as meeting the permitted amount. T25 or T. most of our daily use devices might hv much radiation than the tritium gas in the watch... so just need not worry too much....haha i m wearing Ball as well...

You won't be satisfied with the Longines if you really live those tubes. Gotta be the Ball.

Of course you will say good choice since you are the thread owner who asked a year ago whether to buy ball or longines and eventually picked ball.....

Anyway, i agree it is a good choice.
