Advice needed: Hublot or Rolex

Hi all sifus..need advise.

I am about to pull a trigger..I am undecided between Rolex Submariner green vs Hublot big bang all green. Both are new, getting good bargain pricewise. Hublot cost a couple of thousand more but limited edition. Any advise will be appreciated. Really love both but couldnt afford to buy both.

Rolex is my target but when put on my wrist find it a little small. Hublot are masculin, sits nicely on my wrist but a little worried due to rubber strap durability.

How about cost of ownership? The running cost / service cost. Durability of both watch?

Purely my opinion.
Size wise: Rolex wins. 40mm is as good as daily wear or whatever occasions.
Looks: Rolex wins.
Design: Rolex wins
Resale Value (a WIS favourite point): Rolex wins.
Cost of ownership service and etc: Rolex wins.
I think the only thing Hublot wins is it's less common, or less pedestrian. Rolexes are everywhere but not without merit.

In the end, buy what you like. :Cheers:

It is your decision at the end of the day but IMHO, Rolex Sub is the obvious choice.

Buy the Hublot for the limited edition and more exclusive since not many wearing it ........ :Cheers:

BUT you will still want and buy the Rolex Sub aka Hulk ..... soon :Laughing_on_floor:

Rolex it is then. Will pick up the Hulk tomorrow...hopefully wont regret about the Hublot. Thanks everybody.

Great choice! You will likely regret if you went for the Hublot instead.  The Sub is iconic and will never go out of style.  The green color of the Hulk will make it stand out more than the ubiquitous standard sub. Please post a wrist shot of your new love. I am also considering the Hulk.  :Cheers:

Opinion please: Rolex and Hublot

Just read a thread with a similar topic and found that almost all suggested Rolex. I fall into the same dilemma as well; Rolex Vs Hublot.

I am currently looking at the Rolex GMT Master 2 or Hublot Classic Fusion Chrono Aero Titanium. I like both designs but I am actually not a fan of Rolex watches. In terms of Top of Mind, Rolex is up there, when it comes to luxury watches. Can't explain, am just torn between these 2 watches. I sound illogical.  :HammerHead:

Anyway, appreciate your opinions. Cheers......

Saw your post n my humble opinion for this is classic fusion aero titanium. I tried it and nearly pulled the trigger.  ;)

Yes...go Rolex if you are conservative and go Zenith if you are more adventurous.  Hublot should not be in the equation.   ;D  Please do not kill me Hubloties (name of Hublot fans?  ???)

Thanks all for your opinions. Ya, I feel if I decide on the Rolex, it's a safer path but Hublot is a bolder option. Best go to an AD to test it out first.. And price is also a major factor.. I read some recommendation to maybe buy it 2nd hand..

Also want to apologise to bro Hiro for hijacking his thread.. Wanted to start one of my own, have no idea how it ended up here.. :HammerHead:

Finally...pull the trigger this morning. Managed to get it from Rolex center instead of unofficial importer.

Rolex have resell value, hublot dont have.....
