Hi, I'm looking for a new watch for myself
My criteria would be :
1. Between RM2000-3000
2. Case diameter between 40mm-43mm
3. Swiss automatic movement
4. Date function
5. More dressy, a little sporty is alright
6. SS bracelet, and is able to change to leather strap
7. Not Tissot or Mido
8. Able to wear to most occasions

hmm...a bit tough for the price range....some entry level Oris might fit the requirements.

I recommended mido , even it is an entry level, but some part of Mido movement using a high end grade component like their balance wheel.  or you can try Epos 3413.

Top up your budget by a little and you may be able to get a basic Longines automatic. Or choose the vintage path and get a Omega Seamaster / constellation from the 50s or 60s.

Take out No. 6, stretch No. 5 slightly... and you could probably do well with an Edox 80078 Class 1. It retails for RM3,690 but should be within your budget after the shop discount. Picture sourced from the Net.
