NOMOS
« on: May 08, 2014, 11:14:33 PM »
In bait of a dilemma...

Tangente 38

Normal version or doctors without borders version?

I like the blue hands, clean design, simple.

The dwb version is for a good cause, black hands normal looking, red 12 might be distractive.

Any input guys? Any wrist shots from owners?

Go for the normal version bro. The flamed blue hands are much nicer (and more difficult to execute correctly) than the oxidized black hands of the DWB version.

I'm waiting for a copy of their brochure. Just ordered from their store. For me, I'd go for the DWB version because it's for a good cause and it's also limited to just 1000 pieces each. But that's just me. Happy watch hunting!!!

PS, seems Nomos getting lots of attention of late.

Interestingly, nomos LE are priced cheaper than the normal production models. But only available through the ADs other than the Medicin sans Frontier models from their site which is an occurring model with proceeds to the organization.

Do drop by wempe in Europe for see what's the latest LE that is available. It's always a small batch LE that is 100-200 euros cheaper than the normal production run models. ????

I like their business model... No milking of these LEs. Most of the time it's not advertised and it's for charitable organizations.
