AUDEMARS PIGUET ROO Diver QEII CUP LE
« on: April 22, 2014, 08:02:37 AM »
Guys, just for sharing and I think this RO Diver is nice and limited to 150 pcs with RRP USD30k.

What you guys think if compare to carbon/ceramic/SS diver? Which you guy prefer?

AP quality with Invicta styling is not a combination to which I, personally, aspire.

actually on this piece, appearance wise I like the most compare to those existing diver design. Before that  I like the ceramic one just personally don't prefer the orange color.

on the movement, which is using same as 15400 with cal.3120.

just one thing I wonder, why choose DIVER as for horse racing event, don't you think even choose chrono will be more appropriate?

The AP LE versions are getting out of hand. A lot of similarities with the Le Bron LE and that gets little attraction too.

I dread to imagine what the bezel would look like after some use. As it is, SS already attracts dings without even touching anything.

Nope don't like it. Divers should be functional... Not bling!

I quite like the look myself. AP has been the pioneer of using tantalum or tantalum/rose gold long ago. However, I still couldn't understand why they would release a diver's watch for a horse racing event (anything with a chronograph might make more sense to me).

With a RRP of USD30k, consider it the cheaper version of the Le Bron, for those who like the look but find the Le Bron too pricey.

Does it really matters what we think, John?

If you think it's nice, well then go for it!

We can't be all wearing the same thing, hehe.

At the end of the day, when you wear that for a GTG, everyone would want to molest it

 ;)

It doesn't look that terrible. Just that gold doesn't look right on a diver...
