2nd Arrival in a month...
« on: April 16, 2014, 01:25:31 PM »
Just arrived at my office less than an hour ago.

Wasted no time unboxing it.

My new catch - Seiko Monster Dracula SRP313J1 - Made in Japan version.

A close-up shot.

.

Next to the Explorer II I'm wearing today.

The customary wristshot.

Just developed a deeper liking for Seiko after acquiring the Astron GPS Solar earlier in the month. I always like the Seiko Monster since its 1st generation but never gone to the stage of pulling the trigger. Never thought I would buy 2 Seikos in a month and I've just confirmed an order online this morning for Seiko original steel bracelet to go with this baby before it even arrived!

Actually, I got lucky with this. I won a bid on ebay from a Singapore seller for this new watch. Usual price is around US$200-300 if you search in the net. I got it for less than that.

commonly addressed as Dracula in major local ADs...but overseas market seems to be using the term Vampire.

I had the Monster Dracula too, and paired it with the Nato Ducati. It looks good with the Nato, IMHO. You could sample getting the Nato and have fun swapping the straps, mate!
