This was originally posted at watchuseek forum, since not alot of Stowa presence in MWF, i thought sharing this here. Im pretty new to this, having only previously play with my friend's Stowa

Hi all,

I am new to Stowa and placed my first order since last year, a Flieger B, then added a Flieger 6498, then a Flieger Black Forest and finally added a Flieger No logo when advent calender. After placing my orders, only i realized, i crazed for Stowa Flieger too much. And suddenly, i started a Stowa Flieger Collection. Before Stowa, my only watches is G Shock and Orient. LIke many, i started watch collection with Swatch but stopped and sold all of them at a lost back then. So when i decided to go on with this new Flieger collection, i knew i am about to reignite my collection hobby.

Long story short, i received my Flieger B, 6498 and No logo early this week. I was so excited to see three flieger in front of me.

After wearing all 3 brothers for a few days now. I am very happy with the purchases. The watches is beautifully made. Let me show you guys some pictures:

Love the 6498 Back side...

Love the buckle - screaming Stowa!

The 3 brothers - Front side

The 3 brothers - Back side

Some how, i like the 6498 the most, maybe because its a handwind. Love the movement ticking sound. I tend to wear the No logo with leather strap the most for office work. While Flieger B is the least love among 3 brothers. When casual, i will probably rotate between 6498 and B, depending on what i wear (6498 is with Old strap with rivet while B is Normal black strap).

Oh, since 6498 have the biggest case and i like him the most, 6498 is the Big brother, No logo is the middle, while Flieger B is the youngest among 3 brothers. I am still waiting for the Black Forest, 4th bothers and hopefully, i will be able to lay my hand to one of the Flieger Chrono as the 5th. Not so keen on other Flieger so far, but who knows.

That's all for now.

Nice Flieger collection. I also have the B-Uhr that I purchased from Germany. Did you buy them online and do they shop to Malaysia?

Buy from Stowa. Pretty easy without hassle.

Pay with paypal when they about to assemble my watch, and ship to Malaysia with Fedex. I get Stowa to combine shipment, thats why all 3 flieger arrived together at once. Usually shipping is around Rm200. RM200 x 3 = RM600, but combine shipment = RM200.

For my case, The wait for the watch is both pain and cherish since they dont sell at store.

Just wonder why ppl like the watch without the "Stowa" on the dial. Is this more iconic or something?

Actually i dont mind the Stowa on the dial, but just happened this 3 dont have logo on it.

I list down here for you a few points i gather from Stowa forum about logo and no logo:

  • it is just a matter of which you like better. I personally think the no logo dial is cleaner and better looking.
  • From a practical standpoint the no logo seems to be a bit more popular and might be easier to flip if the need arises.
  • The Stowa Flieger No Logo No Date is a pure time keeper in the German sense. A pure utilitarian watch that tells you the time in Zero seconds flats.. with no other distractions...like, logo, or date!
  • "No Logo No Date" was a little closer to the original Fliegers in look.
  • At least one No date No Logo, then if u want, can get one more with logo and date
