Gong Xi Fa Chai guys,

It is new year and it is time to look for a new (or preowned) watch

I am looking for an affordable white dial sport watch, any suggestion?

1. Size: 38-42mm
2. Prefer 3 hands watch without complication (automatic watch)
3. Dial: white
4. Water resistant: good enough for swimming pool
5. Budget RM5k (new or preowned), the lower the better

Sorry, I just read the criteria. Tyr the SARB023 instead:

WAY under your budget, and damn close to the GS above. Easily the nicest mechanical sports watch I have handled under US$1,500.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys.
I always wanted to get an automatic Seiko but finding the right one is rather difficult - Their naming / categorization is rather confusing and not a lot of Malaysia retailers carrying Seiko automatics.

Thus far, I really like white dial Aqua Terra but I believe that finding a pre-owned one at +/- RM5k will be rather difficult.
If I can find one near my price range, it would be my first choice

This is what I really really want (end game white dial sport watch to me). But I am far far away from it so looking for something else to wear for this 3-5 years.

I feel a seiko would really be the one to choose. They have the most bulletproof movement ever.

If for the swiss watch....Oris diver date.....look good too.

GS are good too......great piece for seiko.

Seiko is the best, many white dial variations.

Thanks again for all the suggestions.
I did some window shoppings over the weekends but nothing at <RM5k speaks to me.
I conclude that my only wants are tudor heritage chrono blue, rolex explorer ii or above.
In which case, I will end my search now and focusing on making more money instead :p
However, making more money looks tough in this difficult year :/

If you're staying in Klang Valley, I would say earning is easier than saving.

donald, you can't even get the cheapest GS QUARTZ model USED under RM 5K not to mention the top mechanical caliber in the GS stable i.e. the hi-beat 36,000 vph

RM 5K for mechanical watch might get you an pre-owned Omega 2500 calibered watch or an old Rolex hand wind 6694
