In your primitive mind on the best ideal watch
The best ideal watch should / must have the following criteria
(Point form; not necessary in orderly manner)
A) An understated watch,
B) Uncluttered dial / neat contrast / good luminous
C) Sapphire glass with anti-glare coating / sit on level with bezel (so that glass not easily chipped off)
D) Looks like a non date at first glance but when needed the date, its there.
E) Water resistance at least 200m
F) Anti-magnetic
G) Reasonable build material – 316L stainless steel (no tegimented treatment / shell effect breakage, no PDV or PCV or whatever)
H) Within COSC specifications, -2 to + 4 sec / day.
I) Respectable price list / reasonable priced
J) Respectable brand name
K) Comfort wear / not too bulky / not too heavy but just nice and feel good – personally.
L) Protection against odds on all elements under normal usage.
M) Bracelet not hair puller.
N) Can wear for all occasionally or 24/7
O) Make strong presence in the world of horology
P) Not too large / not small either diameter approx. 36 – 42mm
Q) Not too expensive to service at 5 years intervals
R) Movements’ easily recognizable / spare parts easily available / movement’s good reputation for the past 40 years or so. Practically any skilled watch technician can do service it
S) Construction and assemble of complete watch using latest technology
T) Solid screw back and screw crown
U) Swiss / Germany / Japanese made.
V) And the list goes on and on and on……………
