My new hoot in 2014 - dress watch
« on: January 16, 2014, 03:34:08 PM »
not sure if this is the right section to post?

bumped into bro Dennis yesterday and he'd the first glance of my dress watch.

I've been looking for a rose gold dress watch and came across this over a year ago. procrastinated because it doesn't have any lume (hard to find dress watch with any). tried it on my wrist yesterday afternoon and I still liked it so now it's added into my collection. fitted with F.Piguet movement, 3 days power reserve and a nice size of 42mm, a very tiny diamond at the centre of the dial (6 o'clock position) which is nice touch to the timepiece. i think the finishing is not bad and a plus point is that I think I got a good deal for this piece.

quite happy with it. wore it last night and I could tell time from the rose gold hands (thank goodness).

iphone pics so the resolution isn't fantastic. I think my aim to get a FP Journe or RM is now almost impossible to achieve after this purchase but I've learnt to be contented with what I own now.

cheers

james

I went to the sales yesterday during lunch hour.. Too crowded so no chance to handle the HW.. But the lady told me one RG was sold on Wednesday... I know who is the culprit... However congratulation on your new acquisition... Wear it in good health...

Thanks bro. I'd difficulty choosing between the white dial or the black one that day. Actually, I went there again yesterday around 3pm and nearly bought the IWC Portuguese Perp Calendar but the sales staff whom I know told me to better reconsider. If we overset the watch, it needs to be sent to the factory because the watch doesn't have individual correctors like other brands.
