No special care really. However I would recommend washing or at least running it under tap water after a swim in the sea or pool.

Got a c2pid question. How do u preserve the resin band from cracking after a few years?

I does not usually break so soon. I have 12 year old Gs that are holding strong. I did read about not wearing it together with sun block though as the chemicals is bad for resin. Also to wash it often if you wear them - in contrary to some belief - with mild liquid soap and dry it with a soft cloth. Sweat and dirt/gunk accumulated on resin would likely deteriorate it faster.

If you don't wear your G-shock for a very long time, the plastic parts turn sticky....That's what happened to my casio....dispose it since

I am almost a recovered watchaholic, but last checked shows only 70% recovered. How?

I own a riseman and the new gravity defier series really nice especially the one with the orange wording which make it super legible. Damn that they did not made that one with bracelet. The blue dial doesn't appeal to me.

Generally it will not if you keep it clean and dry. The exception would be the belt stopper as the material composition is different (if I dare say of lesser general quality).

G-Factory in Sunway Pyramid is quite good in choices
Casio Booth at Mines Shopping Center also good
but both a bit hard on giving discount...

Someone mention about one shop at Pertama giving good discount. All this depend on which model you want to get.  If you are looking at commonly available model like GW9000 or DW6900 , well you can find that almost everywhere...

Happy hunting and send us report on the result...

Sunway, Mines and places without good discounts are official G-shock models, warranty given by Marco group. Places that give good discounts are often grey market and the warranty is not covered under Marco.

The best place for me personally is Sg Wang. Some of those secluded, hidden from view shops already carried the G-1200 a month before it was officially made available in Malaysia. I got my GA-100 a month before it showed up at G-Factory. Last weekend I was told that the King of G-shock, the GX56, is coming end of the month/early October.

Saw and tried on a GX56 from my regular G-shock buyer last week. Nice but a big too big to be a classic. More like a fad although I can still pull it off somewhat on a 6.75" wrist. The case is a bit too tall although I can live with the diameter. Hence, not in my books at this time and unsure for the near future. Note: It does fit the wrist - in feel - better than my 1000B & G frogs...

the brotherhood of G's...heheheh

i bought a bezel / body for my GShock G7210RB, however since i couldnt find the exact one for it, i tried the common body for GW6900
make a fool of myself and that bezel doesnt fit....hehehehhehe...luckily it is not that expensive...but i dont know what to do with it now...

For that, if any of you looking for new body for your Gw6900 i am willing to let it go...if not then i guess, it will stay safely in my drawer....heheheh
anyhow, by any chance - anyone know where can i find body/bezel for my G7210RB ?

This is the picture of my G7210RB with tough solar ...fairly beaten watch....heheheh

and this is the picture of the bezel...sigh...

anyhow...for the record the G7210RB is a great watch. I bought a used one from a friend as i have plan for it, one to change the body and two to reverse polarity of the screen...hence i bought a used unit....

Nonetheless now that i couldnt find the exact body, it still work really well with me. My other hobby would be gardening and often when in my small garden, i lost sense of time hence a watch on my wrist would be a great reminder...Dealing with gardening with all physical work and the dirt i played with, always reluctant to put on my other watches with me but with this on...the game is on...happily unearthing the garden with this tough watch on my wrist...yes, i should snap some picture someday while we both were in action....later perhaps

anyone spotted the latest XL G56? king of g-shock...

Spotted it today at 1U. All 3 colors available for RM5xx. Can't recall the name of the shop but it's the one near Reject Shop. Not as big in the flesh but still massive.
