Bro john, since u got the iconic sub ...then get the iconic moonwatch..I normally rotate my rolex (sub / gmt / DJ / explorer / tudor bb and speedy ) on working days ....however I still prefer wearing my speedy even on weekends...maybe I am still a speedy fan at heart..

Bro skyliner, may I know your speedy is manual or auto?

Since there is no power reserve indicator for this speedy, may I know when I shall wind it again?
I know the spec say 48 hrs power reserve for this speedy but then can I wind it again after may be say 23 or 28 hrs use? Sorry to ask that since I never own any manual winding watch...

Bro john, all my speed masters are manual as it's the original moonwatch... I would normally wind it every morning when I wear it , that's how I bond with my speedy...to me , it's a timeless classic with bracelet or leather straps.

U can always wind it as and when u like ...just don't overdo it ...slow down your winding once it get tight...I normally give it a good 25-30 wind to keep it ticking . Remember ...the iconic moonwatch is alway manual wind..

You can wind up your Speedy anytime you want bro (not only when it is near empty). Some people prefers manual watches as they find it "therapeutic" to wind up their watches as part of their daily routine.

Thanks for the advice bro skyliner.

How much normally the AD able give on the discount? 20 %? If I able get the discount on  20% for this piece, is that consider a good deal already or I can still get a better deal in some other place?

Since u have a sub, the next good logical choice will be the speedy. Gmt styling is very close to your sub.

Sell the sub & go for both la , since the GMT 2c is quite similar to your sub + has more functional use then the sub since you don't dive.

Sub is my daily beater now. I prefer to wear something that more "low profile" & " casual" looks for daily.

If I go for the speedy..which I plan it for my another daily beater just concern later on since it is manual winding..so might not going to use it as my daily beater but yet I can still keep it ;)

As of rolex gmt, the blue/black bezel for me is  a bit too eyes attraction, so not plan for use it as daily if I buy it.

Last and most important, I nvr plan to sell watch for watch :)

Sorry bro, can't help u on that cos Spore Ad do not give much high discount for Omega... However if you afraid that you might not keep long then I suggest that u go for the most sought after moon watch 3570.50 which is a lot cheaper , more to the original and easy to flip. Anyway the movement is same so why pay so much more ? Just my suggestion .

GREAT choice!

The Speedie is a great watch but cannot compare to the RO for pure classiness.  Congratulations!

That is a sweet piece. You now understand the concept of going for the grail and not a "in-the-meantime" watch

If you can afford that watch, you can afford to go out at lunchtime and buy yourself a decent camera!

Time to bring those cameras out of retirement, John.  An iconic beauty like the RO deserves better than a mobile phone!
