(SOLD): Seiko Black Monster SKX779K3

Downsizing the collection. After much thought, decided to let this one go.

This classic Seiko diver needs no introduction.

Some specs:
Movement: Caliber 7S26
Unidirectional bezel.
Convex Hardlex glass.
WR 200m
Lugs: 20mm
Case width:      42mm
Case thickness: 13mm

On to the pictures

Bought Oct 2009 so still a few more months left under the 1 year warranty. Watch is mint! I can only find a very small ding on the case at 2 o'clock. And only noticeable if you look very closely. Keeping good time. Bezel movement is smooth and clicks spot on at the 12 o'clock marker. Comes with box and papers. Also included, the OEM Seiko rubber strap (originally came with the watch) and a thick and chunky leather Morellato strap (bought separately, cost >RM100) which matches the watch very well. Rubber strap is like new as it has been on the leather soon after I bought the watch.

Price: RM400

Any queries, feel free to contact me at [email protected]

Thanks for looking.

Hush... another cycle of downsizing?.

IMHO, I find these monsters a very practical watch. You can actually trust them to go / dive and all chores watch, which can also handle all sport activities.

For those, still without these monsters, make a quick grab. You won't regret.
The black dial monster looks striking.

I am almost a recovered watchaholic, but last checked shows only 70% recovered. How?

Yup, not enough hands to wear them all...  :P

Agree with you on this david. When I am in the mood for a diver, its a choice between the sumo and monster. Sumo wins most of the time. So I have been neglecting this piece.
