Panerai is the Milking King. It is pretty amazing how they could come up with so many variants of the Luminor and Radiomir.

Nice design even though not very inspiring. I afraid this will forever live in the shadow of his big brother 372.

Come to think of it. I find the 368 much more appealing now. At the same time the status of 217 which more secure now.

That would make an ideal 47mm collection. 372, 217, 249 and regular production 399

Or maybe an Ennebi Fondale Ti  :P

I find it refreshing that a risti is able to come out and use the word "uninspiring" on a PAM model.
Yes, for me, I find it uninspiring as well.
But instead of being the one who started it and risk receiving backlash... it's safer for me to piggyback on your comment if you don't mind.  ;D

2015 will see the same model with a PR on the dial perhaps.

LOL. I usually get shot down before I can comment something constructive.

I find the fun is to dig deep into a collection to find a perfect sample (Price vs Design vs Heritage) I do that to all the brand. You will be surprise how many watch company practice the Bread and Butter strategy(uninspiring model)

Pam112 vs pam219
Pam372 vs pam 557

I love 372, however too big on my wrist
557 can give it a try since my right wrist is much bigger after so many yrs of racket sports

Pam is good to cater public needs n want
Can't be just look after collector n stop making more variants right?

To me, only problem with pam is they sell high price for a LE this yr
Then 3 yrs later they hv a 95% similar in normal production

Like I said b4, after all watch and brands are business, they are here for profit, hence what they did is for whole market, not for collector

Well it looks gorgeous as usual (coming from a 372 owner) but unfortunately probably won't be able to pull it off without the crown lever bit nudging into my wrist as i wear my watches on my right hand. But for the left handers, i think it'd be perfect if you're looking for a base model with a difference and yet still holds well traditionally (if you see what i mean).

You are right...
Alot of brands are guilty of the same...
Do it long enough and people just stopped hoping and take it as the norm.

Me? I like it.

Minimalist, simplistic, classic , to the point kinda watch. I like the design as it doesn't feign sophistication with complex dials and busy details. It begs admiration and acceptance without the middle ground. I find it cool and unpretentious. You either like it or you don't. From my perspective I must say the beauty of this watch lies in its honest elegance and I give it my absolute 'thumbs up' !
