Watch Winder Search
« on: June 13, 2010, 03:32:47 PM »
Hi

I am looking to buy a watch winder. My budget is quite limited I a considering either the:
a) Wolf design Module 1.5 (twin watch) : 600TPD
b) the Eilux 3-watch winder : 1000 TPD

The watches that I will be using the winder are like baume mercier, muhle glashutte and rolex. It is recomended that 650TPD for these watches.

Is this is the case, would the Eilux winder be detrimental to the watches? I have read that there will not cases of over-wounding the watches. As modern watches has a built-in mechanism that prevents over-wound.

Please advise.

If you have just purchased an automatic/self-winding watch, or if you plan to invest in one, you should know that a watch winder is a necessary accessory. The function of an automatic watch winder is to keep the timepiece wound when it is not in use. Therefore, it is very important to know how to purchase a quality product to keep your watch in the best shape for a long time.
