My Latest Acquisition
« on: October 18, 2013, 09:46:06 AM »
To share my joy....I recently acquired this beautiful piece to my small collection.

Had the itch for a new watch for a while but could not pin down exactly what due to budgetary constraints.  Been rationalizing for a dress watch with a clean, uncluttered look instead of the usual chronographs I have.  Then I saw this after researching and further rationalized - why not a dual time - since I frequently travel.  Excuses...excuses... ::)

Anyway, I was captivated by its clean lines and the finishing. Upon closer look at the dial, the brushed sunray pattern sets the tone.  The detailing in the hourly and UN appliques give depth to the face.  The blue crown set with the UN logo completes it!

Furthermore, I was impressed by its simplicity when it comes to function. The pushers on the left, essentially "+" and "-", to add or subtract the time respectively instead of having to adjust the crown while travelling across timezones.

I am a very happy camper!   :Dancing_banana:

Nice... Not a piece that's seen here often.
Wear it in good health bro.

The + & - GMT push button is really useful
It's much more easier to use than the crown setting type

Love the overall design as well
Can Pm how much u got it from 'that shop'
