Indonesian newbie intro
« on: September 26, 2013, 12:33:34 AM »
Hi guys, a newbie in the forum but have always love watches since I was a kid (G-shock days) (90s kid hehe)

22, Indonesian, living in KL for 8 yrs. Did my O levels & diploma here, did my degree in SG and now I'm back in KL - working while doing my Master's.

Currently wearing Tag-Heuer SLR for Mercedes-Benz. - Saving up for a Rolex within this year. or Hublot? Rolex vs Hublot?

Looking forward to get to know some of the members here and learn a thing or two  ;)

Hello, glad to have you here.  Hublot? Rolex? Panerai, IWC? Germans...yes, this is the place to be.  ;D
Forward a specific and clear question on the general thread and many members will start giving useful insights...

Good morning and welcome to the forum. I never had a thing for hublot. Big and flashy is what it is. I would much rather go for an AP for similar price range. That being said, maybe I am only saying it because I am a skinny 6 and a half inch  Go Rolex first, then move on to others later if you wish. The DSSD is the
"chunkiest" Rolex there is out there at the moment. Otherwise, you may want to try out the new Explorer II at 42mm. Whatever it is that you wish to purchase, wear them in good health...

Morning mate, thank you! I was actually interested at looking at Hublot first then it started to draft off to Rolex (blame the hip hop culture lol). Rolexes are much more within my saving budget compared to Hublot, though sadly. Always a big fan of submariners.  8)
