guess you prefer something with a second hand. from your choices.
if you intend to have a more versatile watch, stick with a S/S. but if you rotate between a few watches then the Titanium watch is good to have.
a S/S watch would dress up nicely with no nice gator/lizard straps. would go well for any formal occasions.
as for me i prefer the base models. all the models u mentioned share the same cases, so sizes, thickness is the same. movements are more or less the same as well, after all it derives from the same base movement. the difference is just the sub second hand.
the base logos are quite rare and hard to get your hands on. especially the Zeros. most purist would have that in their collection eventhough it's considered as the lowest end of all Pam models. infact i was looking for a Zero before i got my 112.
the Fiver looks real sporty to me. i would prefer it over a 111. again the fiver is quite a rare find with the production numbers of the logos far lower than the rest of the bases and marinas.
for me if you put a base logo Zero/Fiver on the table next to any historic models, i would reach for the logos straight away. those models are way more far and fewer in between. u do not get much chance to see it in the wild. i've only seen one Fiver over here in the public compared with tons of 111 and 104. also the logos are cheaper and gives more bang for the buck. the novelty of the clear casebacks would wear off quite quickly IMHO.
of all the historic series, the most common is the 111 with the highest production numbers every series so far. but i anyone knows why the current L series only runs 500?
is it true they are going to go all high end or going to abandon the historic series because of ETA going to stop supplies as rumoured? but then what about the rest of the models that uses the 7750 and other ETA calibre?
the Marinas would look smaller than the Base. The fonts of the Marinas are smaller to accommodate the sub second hand and not to mention to squeeze in an extra line of word on the dial. although with the size of the watch the term "squeeze" would be an oxymoron. but u get the idea.
so few question u got to ask yourself:
1. Nine or Sub Second hand?
2. Sandwich or Sausage?

3. Clear or Solid Caseback?
4. SS or Titanium?
try googling up some comparo photos and walk into any shops to try out all the models if you can. you'll know when you find the "one" when it sings to you on your wrist.
cheers
hope it helps
my 112 saying hi
