Congrats & wear in good health.

You change the rubber strap to bracelet yourself?

I see. Thanks for clarifying. Sorry I mix it up with the 455.  :-[

Actually never knew there is a bracelet version until today.

There are basically 2 differences, the metal bracelet and the limited edition serial number. The 455 has the standard 6 digit Seiko serial number while the 461 has the xxx/500 serial number. Both watches are limited edition.

Congrats man!
You really gila on this LE series haha.

Since you already have the rubber strap version.
This one only difference is the bracelet and the serial LE numerals?

Thanks.

Do the other three blue LE variant get the same bracelet version treatment as well?

Not really gila into it, but the other code blue were JDM, and got it at a great price, so.... Actually the plan was to get the Code Blue Monster (455) and be done with it. But since my watch guy can give me a good deal, I got the rest. Then out of the blue, Seiko came out with the 461. Checked with my watch guy, and there is no (at present) JDM version of the 461. Since it was limited edition with the limited edition run xxx/500, and the pricing was not too bad, might as well get it.

Don't know, but looking at what Seiko is doing, I would not be surprised.

Got myself this same model last week. Love it & macho type of watch. Planning to change it to rubber/leather strap, any recommendation? Do I need to get original Seiko strap or 3rd party OEM would be good enough?

You can use the ori Seiko rubber strap, but not sure if you can get the blue rubber strap. If using the black, you can go for either the straight vented or curved vented straps. Other choices includes the Seiko canvas straps, which is available in blue. You can also use independent brands or maybe leather straps?

Sometimes, a strap change is a must.
Like my Dracula, it looks way better in black leather and red stitching than the stock rubber strap (which is too long anyway)

Ordered myself original Seiko Monster black rubber strap, but unfortunately it doesnt fit to SRP461K1. Been told, standard for monster is 22mm, but this is 20mm.  :'(

I don't have a recent Seiko diver monster, but I am 100% sure the OM / BM with the Cal.7S26 from the old days all had 20mm lug space because I upgraded mine with a 20mm SBDX001 MM rubber strap. .

Interesting problem you have. I have measured all the monsters I have and all are 20mm lug width.
