Is this the CWC that made the Nautilus lookalike?

No. That is produce by Classic Watch Company, but not to be confuse with a watch dealer in UK with the same name. Google search will only yeild the later. The CWC who make Nautilus lookalike is much more shaddy organisation, no official website, no address, and apparenly the Nautilus is the only model I saw their name on it.

Quartz is good enough for me, and I am still young, not yet as an vintage watch collector.  Within 2k is acceptable for my current income.  Sorry, I read from the newspaper few weeks ago mentioning Penerai was produced to Italian army, but don't really know that they have stop producing for the army usage so long ago.  Not bad strategy by Penerai since it could convert from a military producer to fashion/premium/pricey watch.......

Nothing wrong with a young bloke to go vintage. In fact, I'll give a higher respect for a young man with tasteful vintage on his wrist anyday. 2K is a very good start for vitage, and you might get more than one watch with that budget.

Can't find any info on that "CWC". Only Classic Watch Company I found was a pre-owned shop in UK

The company that makes military watches is Cabot Watch Company (CWC). You should be able to find some information about their watches at the military watch forum also.

To clear things up, here's a clarification.

1st CWC
Cabot Watch Company
Description: Nice watch company making nice utility watches, officially supplying watches for British Army forces since 70's.

2nd CWC
Classic Watch Company Ltd.
Description: A respectable watch dealer based in Brighton, UK. Owned by a man called Martin Kaye.

3rd CWC or WCC
Classic Watch Company (watchmaker)
Description: A shaddy company without official website, no valid address or any corporate information. Known for making high quality PP Nautilus Homage watch.

Hopefully this will help.

Have you decided which way you want to go on the military watch front. I am not expert, but I do like military watches and military inspired watches and watches used by people in the military (not issued). Are you looking at a simple quartz model or mechanical? Are you looking at American issued or inspired watches? British? Australian? Italian? German? Others? What is you budget?

You can start with simple and cheap (but some say not robust) watches like the Pulsar. They are simple watches and don't cost a bomb to buy. Most goes for about RM200. Then you have the CWC/ Precista watches. These are the original issued ones (to the British military), like the W10 or others (Royal Navy, RAF or even the Marines). They are nice and not so cheap. But can be had for below RM500.

If you are looking at mechanical watches, you have the W.W.W. watches. Again to the British army. There are a number of makers (12) and price range is pretty large. The popular brands are Cyma, Omega and IWC. I am looking to get one as well (between an Omega, IWC or Longines). OF course I would love to get an IWC mk xi....

There are other like the Tudor MN Subs and the Rolex Milsub.  ;D

The most important thing is to buy the seller and be careful. There are many franken watches as are there fakes. Try to get them verified, but note that this can add extra to the price of the watch, for example, an IWC military with a cert from IWC itself can add plenty to the cost of the watch as you have to send the watch back to IWC for verification and that can take sometime.

All the best with the hunt.
