:Praying:

When I buy a watch that costs more than my first car (when new). An early 90s Proton Iswara.

When that happens, I'm done. I think an AP or PP ought to do it.

 :Laughing_on_floor:

Either you got badly ripped off when you got your Iswara or you enjoy super good discounts on your watches. I hope it's the latter..... :D

Kind of realized how cheap the Iswara was when it was new in '92, thanks to gov subsidy I guess (big investment then though for a new hire out of University). I seemed to have hit that goal with a Rolex GMT IIc duo tone. No matter, I will give myself an out and either say to choose inflation adjusted Ringgit OR my next later car - Honda Civic late 90s (after that Honda Accord....) - whichever ones higher.

Either ways, I figure I'll probably stop with a high complication PP, AP or VC.

Most Rolex sport models already cost more than a new Proton Iswara in the 90s no?

Easily. At 26k RM on average, it is pretty much on par.
