Well to me a collection does not really have to have a "direction" or have to be of a same series or type or watches.

I just get whatever i fancy and looks good to me. It once was the Exp2 but i soon found out i hate setting the gmt hand. Sad but true...just dont like it dont know why so as much as i like the look i had to let it go.

Well that time was for a very special piece.

Out of your collection now the one that excites me the most is the Rainbow. Nearly got it once but condition was not as good as yours. And the ones with the rainbow color dial is very high. Too bad for that.

You already have wife and kids.... That is far more complicated than a chronomaster

Money would fix all problems with the watch and money may not fix problems with the former
You will be joining me real soon bro... real soon... hehehe

Peter, might sound weird to you but I love the gmt function on Rolex watches... easy to set date and time, setting date without stopping the time, one hour jumps, I just love it...

Congrats Hanz!  As someone mentioned above, we can all relate to the story in one way or another ... as we all are afflicted with the same disease.  :D

Fellow Moderators,

A good read there, Hanz.
From an accumulator to a collector.  :Dancing_banana:

Ya, the Seiko Fifty Five fathoms sounds like Blancpain fifty fathoms.

Yeah... how I wish I can afford the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms.
There is one available at my local AD here... Saw it everytime I am there.
Maybe one day when it's sitting there for too long and the AD decide to give hude discount... I will dive in...  ;D
