Preown Rolex Cellini, Omega Constellation, or Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso would be a option

I don't know others but I tried on Seiko Cocktail (13.1mm thick). Its thickness is about 4 to 8mm more than Cellini, Constellation, Reverso, which make it more difficult to slip underneath the sleeve.

Hahahaha. This was started way back in 2012 when I was moving up the tiers and still unsure what to buy. Today, the aim for a dress watch has taken a back seat as I am into sports watches. Having said that, I do own an Omega Constellation and a Seiko Cocktail as suggested.  If the occasion arises and the opportunity is there, I would be keen on a Lange 1. In any event, this was a nolstagic trip to my earlier collecting days.

Still a good read. Perhaps other members can update the thread with their opinion on what a great dress watch would be today? My grail dress watch would be the Jaeger LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin series, like the Moon or Reserve de Marche.

Tissot Le Locle, Nomos Ludwig, Frederique Constant Manufacture range, Zenith Elite, Omega DeVille, Rolex Cellini, JLC Master Ultra Thin, Lange 1, Vacheron Constantin Patrimony, Patek Philippe Calatrava. Hope this helps.

I would suggest a vintage GS in leather strap. Should be less than RM10 k.

At a maximum budget of RM10,000.00 today, without the other earlier requirements of the case size, PR indicator and the in-house movement, I would go for either an IWC Portofino Automatic or an Omega Constellation or a Rolex Datejust 1601.

how about Nomos, seiko cocktail , stowa partitio, Frederique constant ?

NOMOS GLASHÜTTES is a reputable in-house movement watch company.

Anyone here still following this watch latest news?

I like the brand very much but I'm not sure about all the new flashy colors they recently introduced.

Oh yes. Saw those fancy colour dial Nomos from their website. Personally feel that they are heading to wrong direction.
