hi all,

new member here. just stumbled into this forum by accident actually.

i am seeking recommendations for shops selling pre-owned watches in the KL area. i'll be visiting there between 28th August to 2nd September. particularly looking for shops with Rolex and Zenith.

actually, like in other posts, you won't have to post a full name. members can just put the first letter and dashes after that. it's important for visitors like us to have addresses so we can find places.

My guide was dc and met rusminag at the time (stumbled on them in the shop), shop was in summit

Came back 2 weeks, straight 1 watch hahah

Which floor in Summit? Coz Summit a lot of hidden corners and nooks. Don't really recall seeing any particular shops selling preowned there. But I havent been there for a long time already.

Saw a few interesting pieces.

I wonder if anybody here has done any bizz with them or any comments.

Can anyone tell me if they have dealt with any of the pre-owned shops in kl? Can be trusted? Worried about fakes since paying high prices.

out of the 3 i visited, i haven't seen any pre-owned shop there that can compare in terms of stock to the one in Kuching. maybe there are others with more availability which i didn't get to visit.

however, the owner in USJ Summit is very knowledgeable and I'm sure he would not sell you a fake as real.

prices are a little high for all the shops i went to but i believe that's where your negotiating skills come in.

agreed with dpkong. However, pre-owned shops in KL carry more Panerai than the one in mentioned by dpkong. As for fake watches, always ask for a fullset i.e: box and papers. Also buy from a reputable shop, not some dodgy, dingy shop in some backlanes.

box and papers cannot really guarantee a new watch. some fakes out there are really good and come with B&P too.
