Hi MWF Sifu & Simou,


My fren from Penang had a Oris BC4 where he bought less than a year ago (within warranty) The crown dropped off not long ago and has been fixed back without any charges from service centre in KL. Recently, same thing happened again and the watch now in service centre in which they called him up and told it is chargeable for RM5xx and claimed that it was his fault for using it without care. My fren said he never did any winding apart from adjusting it.

He doesn't wanna pay and thought of email this issue to Oris HQ to complain. The watch is still in service centre.

Anyone face the same problem? Does it make sense for paying? Mind sharing?

Ask them to show proof that how the watch is use without care.
Otherwise, they should repair, more so the watch is under warranty.

not handle without care, it just poor after sale service, poor workmanship, write to HQ.
many years ago my wife ebel bought in 1999 with a 5 years warranty.
it stop sent to service, they want to charge me RM300+ what they said it was different distributor (siber h......)
LV buy over ebel. I write to HQ, reply the warranty valid so they repair free of charge.
