How do you prefer dividend stock and ideally should you keep any how long shall anyone keep despite the price fluctuation ?

It all depends on your age, risk appetite and expected returns. Personally, because im in my early thirties, im heavily invested in tech growth stocks and etfs. I do like certain high yield dividend blue chips or reits play as a defensive buffer to my aggressive tech holdings.
