Where to go for Rolex watches verification(partial service)?

Called up the Rolex in Menara Dion, they don't offer partial service anymore for any watches less than 5 years old, the lady I spoken to further mentioned Rolex from Singapore and Thailand stop providing that service too.

Questions

1. Is it true?
2. Where do you guys get watch verification from when buying second hand pieces?

If direct request them wether can help out to do watch verification? If yes then any charges or foc maybe? I try direct request before on other brand watch also in authorized service center but not Rolex and they willing to help out...not sure about Rolex...
I also interested to know if it is in Rolex..anyone have experience?

What I did was to get a quote for a service instead of asking for a verification, as this will involve the watchmaker opening the case to look inside. They charged me around RM200 for the quote and I got a Rolex travel pouch for free.

They don't do partial service anymore for any watch less than 5 years old, unless you go for a full service which would cost you more than 2k.
