What complication is most usefull to you?
« on: October 20, 2010, 08:45:15 AM »
Besides the date function. What other complication do you like on your watch?
And why?

You can only choose one, and pics are always welcomed  ;D

For me it would be the power reserve indicator. Even on a automatic watch, if i didnt wear the watch for more than one day i would know how much power it is still storing.

Comes in especially handy in manual wind watches off course.

For me, PR too, just like Peter.

Date to me is not much of use. I don't adjust the date of my watches since I rotate to wear them.  ;D

Just wondering, why/how you use your chronograph? To time your exam?

Chronograph and GMT, in that order.
Technically doesn't day and date qualify as complications though?

I don't know about usefulness of moonphase but I think it does add to the overall asthetics of the watch la.... one that I like is the Ball moonphase watch which I saw at an AD. It has tritium tubes and glows as well.

Great looking Rolex GMT. The ceramic bezel is simply outstanding.
And you've relegated the Daytona to the background.
