Jaeger Le Coutre Nato strap
« on: December 08, 2015, 01:31:49 PM »
any1 try your JLC with the NATO strap packaged with some of the sports model (Diver).

i recently tried mine after the original curved end leather strap glue loosing and the padded on piece detaching and the plastic end also detaching.

to my surprise, the nato size is bigger than the watch lug, even u force to fit on, the length is not correct, when u bend the strap to put on, the nato is too long on the back.

i forwarded my query to JLC via their webpage
they replied promptly but directing me to retailer / boutique

retailer took my nato and shown it to JLC
after a mth, JLC replied is awesome

They only made 1 size! so far no customer complaint (i guess many never put it on at all).
this batch is done only one size, so nothing can be done.
they promise future strap they going to make will be fit to their watch

disappointed ! for a big brand, seems very irresponsible for the mistake they made.

try your nato on your JLC, i'm sure you will feel as disappointed, for a luxury watch, even the strap also they cant get it right and no responsible for it after the sales.

so? NFA? at least , they should give you a new 3rd party strap or an acceptable solution since this is a mistake they grossly overlooked

Regardless, they should have the policy to keep their customers happy and make unhappy customers to become happy customers. If they are seriously have happy customer policies, they can compensate you in many ways and economical to them too.

They replied and asked for photo.
I submitted

They replied asked more
Question

Wanna track down which retailer took my strap and replied me for investigation

Sound like blaming retailer

They said no way the NATO lug size is not correct

Seems some one is lying

Why can't jus tell me they Hv many sizes ? And point me to change it

If they Hv it

the nato quality is good, thick, soft and smooth as compare to others

the st steel keeper and buckle are solid, bead blasted finished

so the only problem is not fit, wrong size ! but the very basic !

besides that the leather strap worst, its fit! but the curve end is glue on a plastic, the top part also glue on a rectangle flip size leather. now all glue oxidized, detaching... ugly.

i still waiting for their reply, i dont aim anything in fact.

most important is they dont take it lightly for such a expensive watch.
