Colorful, easy, innovative
This is how the new STOWA Seatime Black Forest Edition 1 can simply be described.
The case of this new watch for example was milled of the light metal TITANIUM.
The dial typography became rounder.
A green minute- and second hand filled with luminous material complete the harmonious construction. A new and innovative rotating bezel , the so called DYNADOTS bezel ("dynamic dots"), is used for the first time for this model.
DYNADOTS: the increasing size of the inserted Superluminova light points shows easy and intuitively a period of 15 minutes. The DYNADOTS concept was developed in co-operation with the world famous designer Hartmut Esslinger and consequently transformed by Jörg Schauer for the model Seatime. It shows the passing time not only in its position but also in its quantity!
An absolute novelty in the design of wrist watches (the design protection is already requested)
Hartmut Esslinger, founder of frogdesign, belongs worldwide to the most influential designers of the last decades. He designed successfully for Wega, Sony, Apple, Lufthansa, Louis Vuitton, Yamaha and many more.
Also, he is among others responsible for the new design of the new STOWA Bauhaus edition "Antea - back to bauhaus".
The Seatime Black Forest Edition 1 is now available in a limited edition of 200 pieces. The limitation is characterized by the use of the green minute- and second hand as well as by the movement, an ETA 2836 top finish, which presently is only available in a limited number.
With this limited edition our classic watch has been revised completely and is available now. (The first 50 watches are mounted and can be shipped before Christmas! Further 50 watches are currently under production. The second 100 pieces will be shipped in January).
