MB&F HM4 "Thunderbolt"
« on: July 09, 2010, 07:00:26 AM »
2 days late but better late than never haha.
MB and his designs are to me a true visionary. I think never has someone push the limits of wrist watch design as far as him.
At first glance most people will go WTF? But upon closer inspection anyone can appreciate the level of detail and craftsmanship that went into each piece.
I had a change to see the HM1 & HM2 at an AD in Pavilion and was in awe  :o
Though i dont think i will ever be able to afford one (but who knows in the future), i think any serious collector should have at least one in their collection.
How long can Max keep up this momentum? Who knows, but his philosophy of of having "friends" collaborating on each HM seems like a very good idea.

So now on to the pics and specs, no live pics yet.

The cost? If not mistaken USD158,000.

Sheeeet..its a eye opener. What can they think of next?.

IMO. Its looks like a twin jet engine...waiting to shoot off from the wrist.

And with that kind of price, think I go and buy me a nice condo together with a lotsx2 of model fighter plane (matchbox size) as decoration pieces.

Just my 2cts

dc
I am almost a recovered watchaholic, but last checked shows only 70% recovered. How?

I can only dream of owning this watch. Each of my current watch collection does not even reach 0.2% of this watch price!  :o
