Window shopping again...
« on: February 18, 2014, 10:01:00 AM »
Hi all sharing some window shopping wrist shot, note: the following are not my watches (although I was tempted to run out of the shop with them)...

A very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, nice 410 LE 1/500, sunburst slate dial... this may be a remake of a classic but if Zenith continues with design and product like this, they are gonna go very far...

GO Senator Observer, hmmm, not bad at all

Baume & Mercier have some really really good value pieces out there. Here's a dedicated calibre made specially for this Clifton

DAMN IT, NOW IT COMES IN BLUE!!!

And the historic model 512 is nice. I do hope they continue this range even after the limited run. Best looking IMO

And on top of the food chain, PP. This may be the ONLY Calatrava I'd wear, if I ever have the funds

And IMO, watches like PP should not look any busier than this lovely model...

And I saved the best for last... (Who doesn't love them Zermen Wasshes eh?)

Lucky enough to come across 1 out of 25 LE... Saxonia Outsized Date.

Compared with 2 other lovely models IMO is best in the entire range...

Richard Lange Boutique LE and 1815 up and down

.... all I can say is that somebody is really doing something right in Le Locle and Glashutte...

That qualifies as 'watch for life', complicated enough, but nothing superfluous. Classy and sophisticated.

Very impressive. Samsung S4 can't do this sort of stuff!

Here you go...

These were done at home on my dinner table (without post-processing). I noticed that S4 can handle macro slightly better. It's also the lighting. The boutique and shops freqeuntly use those halogen lights which can be intense, makes it hard to take good pictures.

Funny that you mentioned that, that's exactly what I did. In fact, not quite sure what I like more anymore. Need to start with a blank slate. There's nothing like seeing, feeling and touching  the actual timepiece(s). GTG is good for this...
